Ilú - Podcast Series

Co-director

“ILÚ” is a sonic experience that takes the listener on a journey through Bogotá, interwoven with the spiritual and everyday practices of Afro-Cuban religions. This project is a dialogue with practitioners from diverse contexts, genders, and ages, who reflect on themes such as migration, rituality, the body, art, and the armed conflict, among others—always from the perspective of their lived religious experience. It is a collaborative effort that results in the creation of audio pieces focused on generating intimate narratives told by those who embody them.

This podcast transports the audience into a narrative space that shifts between the concrete and the abstract, between the physical and the spiritual, contributing to the re-signification of Santería, Palo Monte, and Spiritism, and the ways in which these traditions inhabit urban spaces.**
