El Almacén is a short film created as a Master’s Final Project for the Master’s Degree in Film and TV Directing. The project was born from imagining everything that might exist behind the scenes of shops—beyond what the public sees.

Work life is never simple, and dealing with colleagues can be complicated. But what happens when life itself pushes you against the ropes?

Through sharp and outspoken characters, El Almacén delves into themes such as family sacrifice, necessity, and alienation.

“On a busy sale day at a sneaker store, María must track down a missing order to help her uncle, who got her the job. Everything spirals out of control when it is revealed that her uncle is hiding an urgent secret—and that the missing order is tied to it.”
